What other activities are going on besides the music?
The most important thing about the Kalamazoo Blues Festival is the music! But we know that folks are interested in other diversions. This year presents a new venue with new and different opportunities.
Among the offerings this year will be the Blues Heritage Hall, featuring area luthiers, music shops, Killer Blues Headstone Project, the Janis Joplin Porsche and more.
Our outdoor activity area will feature a live feed from the festival and a corn-hole tournament, giant Jenga, other outdoor lawn games and a selection of beverages. When it gets too hot, step inside for air conditioned comfort.
Sunday will feature a music education/workshop area, along with a children’s activity area hosted by the Junior Jaycees.
